My site has many links pointing to it, but its Google PageRank is still zero. What's wrong?

Google used to update the PageRanks that appear in the Google Toolbar once per month, but lately it's been closer to once every three months, or even longer. If your site is new, it's very possible that you will need to wait up to several months before its PageRank will appear as being above zero in the Google toolbar.
